Founded in 1979, Kessler's Tree Farm started as a small hobby project.

We had just built our house and wanted to find a way to more creatively use the land. We also wanted to promote the outdoors within Susquehanna County and beyond. With unused land and a history in forestry and public education, we planted our first 3,000 trees, and have been learning and growing ever since.

Today, we've hosted more than 20,000 guests—many with roots in our area who return every year as new parents. From our family to yours, we wish you the happiest holiday season and are honored to be part of your yearly tradition.

HELPFUL TIPS

Dress warm and wear tall, waterproof boots to help with the snow, rain, and mud.

You are welcome to choose from any of the tagged trees only.

Personalized Service

Kessler's is more than just a tree farm — we are neighbors, family and friends. We've grown up together, with visitors spanning generations. Your experience is yours and ours, whether that means quality time alone with family, or hands-on help choosing the perfect tree.

Everything You Need

We are a full-service, one-stop-shop. The farm provides free saws to cut your tree; carts to haul it from the field; a shaker and baler to clean and wrap your selection; and a driller to prepare your centerpiece for our stands.

Stands are $25.00.

Adventure and Education

Our goal isn't only to sell trees, but to support recreation and hands-on learning. We invite you to check out the terrain, touch the trees and explore for signs of wildlife. Extend your visit at Salt Springs State Park, the Alpacas of Sunshine Farm & more, on the Endless Mountains tourism site.

Your Selection

We have plenty of cut-your-own trees tagged and a limited selection of pre-cut trees ready for sale. The heights range from 5 to 9 feet.

Prices vary, depending on the size and species, but are typically $50-$75. The price, size, and species are on the tag.

Only tagged trees are for sale.

NORWAY SPRUCE
A rich, green-colored tree with strong branches.

BLUE SPRUCE
Regal blue with strong branches and sharp needles.

DOUGLAS FIR
A traditional tree from the Rocky Mountains.

FRAZIER FIR
Native to the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina with a silver flash underneath.

KOREAN FIR

Rich golden-green color with silver flash underneath.

CANAAN FIR (Most abundant)
Our most popular tree, which grows well in our Susquehanna County soil.
